How to give your AI a task by phone, and have it call for you

These features work together with FlashElves: your AI talks on the phone, your elf does the work and sends you the result.

Step by step

Hand over a task
In the CloakMe iPhone app, call your CloakMe number from that same line. Your AI answers in task mode. Say what you need, for example “Book dinner for four on Saturday”. It repeats the task back and hands it to your elf; say goodbye and it hangs up. Your elf texts you when it's done.

Have it call a business
Ask your elf to call, for example “Move my dentist cleaning to any weekday morning next week, don't cancel it”. The AI calls from your CloakMe number, says it is an AI assistant calling on your behalf, stays inside the limits you set, and confirms the new time back to them. You get the new time by text on your own phone.

Answer questions mid-call
If the other side offers something outside your limits (a fee, a different day), the AI asks you through FlashElves and waits a few seconds. With no answer, it doesn't agree and says it will call back.

Schedule a call for later
Tell your elf who to call, when and what you want. At that time the call goes out from your CloakMe number and you get the result: outcome, transcript, and the recording if you asked for one.

Calling your number from your personal phone reaches the receptionist, not task mode: task mode is for the same line calling itself in the app.
Calls to people (not businesses) end with an offer to text them the details, and for a meeting, whether it's in person or virtual and a Google Meet link.
